Mario Angarica Diaz. Also known as Papo Angarica. Until his death, he was the director of the Son Yoruba group and worked as an advisor to various folk groups in Cuba and Latin America. He was born on July 18, 1942 in Havana, Cuba. He is the son of Nicolás Angarica from Matanzas.
