Víctor Manuel Ruiz Velázquez (New York, September 27, 1968), better known as Víctor Manuelle, is a Puerto Rican-American singer-songwriter of salsa, as well as boleros and romantic ballads.
Víctor Manuelle's debut album, Justo a tiempo, appeared on June 1, 1993. Since then, he has released 19 more albums with total sales of over 10,000,000 albums, earning him the title of "Sonero de la Juventud" . His albums A Pestre de Todo (1997) and Ironías (1998) reached gold status, while his self-titled album Víctor Manuelle (1996) won triple gold status. Apart from reaching the top of the Billboard charts many times, Víctor Manuelle has also won several awards including Best Song (in Ecuador), the ACE award, Tu Música and ASCAP. In 1999, he won the "Distinguished Youth in Music" award from the Senate of Puerto Rico.
The young star has definitely made an impact in the salsa world with his powerful voice and distinctive style in the salsa and sonero tradition. The success and popularity of him singing songs such as "Por Ella" has taken Manuelle to numerous concerts throughout Latin America, the United States and Europe.
In 2012 he launched the production titled I'm looking for a town with the title to “carry a message of unity, improvement and it is an exhortation to all Latinos. Its corresponding first single "Si tú me besas" by Oscar "Oscarcito/Yakozuki" Hernández has captured the characteristic style of Víctor Manuelle fused with traditional and current elements. The second single released is entitled "Ella lo que ella puede es salsa" and has the collaboration of Julio Voltio and Jowe.
